The Spring Service Weekend is scheduled for March 11-13, 2016. The registration form can be downloaded here. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, March 2nd.

The form above is NOT to be used by new Ordeal Candidates nor by those members eligible to attain Brotherhood status. Special invitations with registration forms will be sent separately via US Mail to people in these groups.

The annual pass includes payment for one year of dues as well as member registration for the three 2016 service weekends and the 2016 Fall Fellowship weekend. Separate, on-time registration is required for the four event weekends (Brotherhood program fees and Friday dinner fees are extra). This annual pass is only valid for the single individual listed on the purchase…no transfers, no substitutions, and no refunds for unattended or partially-attended events. Conclave 2016 will be hosted by Powhatan Lodge #161 at Camp Powhatan in Hiwassee, Virginia. The dates are April 30 - May 1, 2016. The lodge registration fee is $50.00. Transportation will be coordinated by chapters. A conclave is where the lodges of the section (Section SR-7A consists of 6 Virginia lodges) get together for training, competition, and fellowship. Of course, the Saturday night block party is a feast that shouldn’t be missed. Conclave also gives OA members the opportunity to visit the different camps across the state.

Your 2016 membership dues ($15) should be paid now. All current and recently inducted members (2015 and earlier) must pay their dues for the 2016 year in order to continue to receive The Tom-Tom and in order to be eligible to attend lodge functions. You may pay your dues with the Dues Form available here or online here ($1 convenience fee charged for online transactions). If you have not yet paid your 2016 lodge dues, please do so right now.

Nawakwa Lodge is offering scholarships of $200 - $500 for this summer. Please download, complete, and submit the Scholarship Application Form. Applications submitted by January 15th will be given preference; however, applications submitted after that date will be considered until all available scholarships have been awarded.

Each summer, the Order of the Arrow offers a myriad of different High Adventure opportunities to meet your summer needs whether its wetting your appetite by going for a plunge in the Atlantic Ocean with the Ocean Adventure at the Florida Sea Base; maybe hiking is your passion, what better place to go than the Philmont Scout Ranch where you can hike the same trails as your Scoutmaster or Scouting ancestors as a part of your Trail Crew experience. OA service goes international in the Ontario wilds, and you can embark on the odyssey of a lifetime, transcending borders and the spirit of the Order. Have you ever given thought about what the Native Americans and early explorers did to be avid traders, maybe the OA Wilderness Voyage at the Charles L. Sommers Canoe Base is calling. Perhaps you want to explore the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve and provide service while enjoying time on and around the New River Gorge National River.
