ArrowCorps5
ArrowCorps5 is the largest, most complex, most challenging conservation project ever conceived by the Order of the Arrow. Over 8 days you will have a chance to participate in a variety of activities that may include trail building, brush removal, cleanup activities, reconstruction, and one fun-filled action packed day of adventure. These projects will have a lasting impact for generations allowing tens of thousands to enjoy the efforts of ArrowCorps5.

Five thousand physically fit and able volunteers, made up of youth and adults, will participate. The national Order of the Arrow committee and key sponsors will fund the projects. Participants will pay a reasonable fee to help pay for accommodations, meals, and a full day of recreational activities during the projects.

If you are interested in participating as a part of Nawakwa's delegation to the Jefferson & Washington Parks site, please complete and submit an application as soon as possible (deadline has been extended until at least 04/01/08). For more information about ArrowCorps5, please visit http://event.oa-bsa.org/ .

Where to Go Camping Index

With the migration to our new server complete, we can now shift our focus to adding new features to nawakwa.org.  The first of which is our new Where to Go Camping Guide Index.  We're currently working to digitize our current Where to Go Camping Guide, and hope to soon have a vast index of places to go camping.

Our new Where to Go Camping Guide Index preserves the structure our old printed guide did, but also affords you the user with an array of searching abilities. We're still working on some of the configuration, but the basic functionality is there.  Perhaps the most exciting new feature to our new Where to Go Camping Guide Index is the ability for user submitted content.  If you have found an awesome place to go camping, and don't mind telling us your secret, we want to hear from you. Our new website allows for user submitted camping locations.  Simply click the "Add Entry" link at the top of every page within our index.  Your submission will be available to all who visit this site after our review.

To visit our new Where to Go Camping Guide Index, CLICK HERE, or hover over "Camping Guide" above, and select "Camping Locations".
